Welcome to SignASLToday.com! We are excited to have you join our online ASL classes. To ensure a positive and productive learning environment for all students, please review and agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Attendance and Participation

• Classes are live and not recorded, so attending each session is strongly encouraged.
• Make-up classes are not available, as each lesson builds on the previous one.
• Students are expected to participate actively in class.
• Students must stay muted unless asked to unmute by the instructor.
• Students should be willing to work with an assigned partner during class activities.

2. Preparation and Practice

• Students are expected to practice outside of class and come prepared each week.
• If a student does not know the signs, practicing conversational text with a partner will be difficult.
• To maximize learning, students should make every effort to review and practice vocabulary before class.

3. Classroom Behavior

• Unmuting out of turn is not acceptable and disrupts the learning process.
• Rude or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
• Disciplinary Actions:

*First offense: Verbal warning.

**Second offense: Student will be removed from the rest of the class session, and a meeting with a parent will be required before returning the following week.

**Third offense: Student will be dismissed from the remainder of the course.

These guidelines are in place to maintain a safe and caring learning environment for all students.

4. Commitment to Learning

• ASL learning requires consistent effort and engagement both inside and outside the classroom.
• Students should come to class ready to engage, practice, and learn.
